Essentially, this movie is just another slasher film, but with a plot shift that makes things kind of different and therefore interesting. Unfortunately some of the dialogue was bad even for a cheesy slasher movie so that the elements of plot and character that were kind of smart and interesting get overshadowed by the cliche and outright dumb. Luke Evans as Driver is the only thing really good and scary about this film. His performance is deliciously creepy.

No one but a ghoul would enjoy this trash. Violent, gruesome and completely without a story or plot...plainly put, call it blood porn and leave it there. Skip this vile depiction of sadistic barbarism. Opt instead to spend your money on something entertaining and fun. If this one is entertaining to you, see a psychiatrist immediately.

I was surprised to find this movie in the theater. It wasn't advertised anywhere but since I love this kind of movie I checked it out. Small crowd since it was Friday and most people were going to the big releases. But I enjoyed it, anyways. Fairly standard slasher plot with a different kind of emphasis on the killer. It was easier to watch since most of the victims were psycho killers themselves or redneck criminals. I enjoyed it. I'd recomend waiting for the DVD to come out--next month, probably. Do not sneak into it after watching some bigger film--even if you paid enough for popcorn and a soda to eat dinner in a 4 star restaurant. I recomend wathing this movie if you're a horror fan but do not pay the ticket price in a theater. Of course, I can't wait for Pt.2.
